THE BRIEF
Studio DADO had a strong reputation within the cruise industry, but breaking into land-based hospitality was proving harder. The work spoke for itself once they were in the room. Getting in the room was the challenge. They needed a clearer position, a unified voice, and a way to express what made their approach genuinely different. The goal was not to change who they were. It was to tell their story with more intention and clarity.

THE CRAFT
We started by listening. Through discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, brand and competitive audits, and social listening, we immersed ourselves in the world of DADO. What emerged was a powerful emotional thread running through everything they did. They were not designing for aesthetics alone. They were designing for how people move, connect, and feel. That truth became the foundation of everything. Form Follows Feeling, the idea worth rallying around, turns a familiar design principle on its head. It says a space should not just look good or work well. It should feel right. It should spark emotion and create connection. From that foundation, we shaped a voice rooted in warmth and intention, reflecting the empathy, curiosity, and reverence for design that had always guided the studio. The visual identity was built to mirror the emotional richness of their work. A layered colour palette shifts between warm and cool tones, gradients add energy and depth as a visual metaphor for emotion in motion, and a refined logo with softened curves brings warmth and improved legibility. Art direction placed real people in real spaces, using quiet intimate cues, a shadow on a wall, a book on a bed, to evoke the idea of spaces lived deeply. The website brought it all together, balancing feeling and function with immersive visuals, thoughtful copy, and a structure built to deepen credibility as the studio stepped into a new market.

THE OUTCOME
Studio DADO emerged from the process with something that matched the quality of the spaces they had always designed: a brand with genuine depth. A clear philosophy, a human voice, and a visual identity rich with feeling gave the studio the tools to walk into land-based hospitality with confidence. Form Follows Feeling became more than a line. It became the lens through which every decision, every conversation, and every new relationship could be understood.
